The Magnolia

This one-of-a-kind custom engagement ring was designed by Amana Engagement in South Florida for a client who came to us with a vision that other jewelers had turned away. Parts of his idea had been rejected before, but at Amana Engagement, we chose to listen first. Instead of pushing him toward a simpler design, we took the time to understand what mattered most to him and the story behind the ring he wanted to create.

We listened to their love story, the way they connected, and the details of their heritage and relationship that made their bond unique. From there, we designed an engagement ring that was not based on trends, but on their story.

At the center of the piece is an elongated marquise diamond, framed by intricate yellow gold details, delicate accent diamonds, pearls, and refined milgrain work. But one of the most meaningful features is hidden within the design: a magnolia flower motif placed in the basket of the ring. On their first date, the couple painted a magnolia flower together, and we incorporated that exact flower into the basket as a hidden symbol of where their story began.

That hidden motif transforms the ring from beautiful to deeply personal. It is not just a custom engagement ring — it is a reflection of their history, their connection, and the moments that shaped their relationship.

The result is a true one-of-a-kind engagement ring, designed with intention and made to carry meaning from every angle. Today, that ring rests on her finger, and we're incredibly happy that Amana Engagement was able to bring their vision to life in a way that honored their story so personally.
