The Embrace

Some rings begin with months of planning. The Embrace began with a deadline. Our client contacted Amana Engagement from Texas with an urgent request: he was preparing to leave for a vacation where he planned to propose, and he wanted something far more personal than an engagement ring pulled from a showcase. He needed the ring designed, completed, and somehow delivered to him while he was already traveling.

So we got to work.

At the center of the design is an elongated oval diamond surrounded by a strong, architectural arrangement of princess-cut and round diamonds. Rather than treating the wedding band as an afterthought, we designed a custom diamond wrap specifically around the engagement ring, allowing the two pieces to fit together as one complete composition. That relationship between the two pieces inspired its name: The Embrace.

The engagement ring remains beautiful on its own. The wrap surrounds it, follows its shape and adds another layer of diamond brilliance — without taking away from the center stone. Together, the pieces create something bold, balanced and unmistakably personal.

But designing the ring was only half of this story. With his proposal approaching quickly, traditional delivery simply wasn't enough. Our client was already headed on vacation, so Amana Engagement coordinated the completed ring to arrive directly at his hotel, quickly and discreetly. The timing mattered. The privacy mattered. And above everything else, the moment he was planning mattered.

The ring arrived where it needed to be. And the proposal was magical. What arrived at his hotel was a one-of-a-kind custom engagement ring, its matching diamond wrap, and one very important secret.
